A one-of-a-kind Cwtch Cath handmade/reworked smock dress made for autumn, Halloween and anyone who happily wears spooky things long after October has finished. 🍂🖤
The top is an oversized khaki green sweatshirt, originally labelled XL, featuring a skeleton enjoying a very seasonal drink surrounded by little pumpkins. I’ve turned it into a full smock dress with a gathered patchwork skirt made from a mixture of Halloween, autumn and cat-print fabrics.
The skirt mixes black-and-white illustrated cats, tiny Halloween prints, pumpkins, autumn leaves, orange-and-black checks and darker florals. I love that it sits somewhere between proper Halloween and cosy autumn, rather than being something you can only wear for one night of the year.
And yes, it has pockets! 🙌🎃
It’s designed to have a loose, relaxed smock shape rather than a fitted waist. This one is a little roomier than some of my other dresses; I’d estimate it at around a UK 14–16 depending on your shape and how oversized you like the fit. The original sweatshirt is labelled XL.
